Technical Mastery with Gore-Tex Integration

One of Richa's most significant technical hallmarks is its long-standing partnership with Gore-Tex. Unlike entry-level waterproofing, Richa’s Gore-Tex garments utilise a microporous membrane that is thermally bonded to the outer fabric or used as a high-performance liner. This ensures a jacket remains 100% waterproof while maintaining high levels of breathability. This is a critical mechanical advantage for NZ riders; it allows sweat vapour to escape during a high-output ride through Taranaki trails while preventing heavy rain from penetrating the outer chassis.

The D3O® Protection Standard

Safety is not a secondary consideration for Richa. They are a primary partner with D3O®, the world leader in impact-absorbing "intelligent" molecules. In its natural state, D3O® is soft and flexible, allowing the armour to contour to the rider’s body for a superior fit. However, upon impact, the molecules lock together instantly to dissipate energy before returning to their flexible state. By integrating D3O® into the shoulders, elbows, back, and hips, Richa ensures that their gear provides "hidden" protection that doesn't compromise the garment’s ergonomic profile.
